The two agreements on "Strengthening and Improvement of the Quality of the Olive Oil in Lebanon" and the "Master Plan for the Sustainable Development of Lebanese Coastal Communities", were signed at the ministry of Agriculture.
The agreements are funded by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation- the General Directorate for Development Cooperation and the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation and in the presence of the minister of Agriculture, Mr. Ghazi Zuaiter, president of the Council for Development and Reconstruction, Eng. Nabil El-Jisr, Former minister Ms. Wafaa Al-Daiqa Hamza, Ambassador of Italy to Lebanon Mr. Massimo Maruti, Secretary General of the National Council for Scientific Research Dr. Mouin Hamza, Director General of Agriculture Dr. Louis Lahoud, General Director of the Department of Agricultural Scientific Research, Dr. Michel Fram, Represenative of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in Lebanon, Mr. Maurice Saade, Director of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, Ms. Donatella Prosisi, Director of "Siam Bari", Mr. Maurizio Riley, Heads of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Sidon and Tripoli, Mr. Mohamed Saleh and Toufic Dabousi and representatives of the institutions concerned.
