Work meeting to discuss the problem of contamination of Qaraoun Lake

The Minister of Environment Mr. Nazem al-Khoury presided a meeting in the ministry which included Mr. Amin Wehbe Deputy of Western Bekaa, the President of the Council for Development and Reconstruction, Eng. Nabil El-Jisr, and the Secretary-General of the National Center for Scientific Research, Dr. Mouin Hamzeh. During the meeting, they discussed the problem of contamination of Qaraoun Lake, the Litani Basin and ways of treatment with the support from environmental institutions.
