MP Anwar Khalil honored the President of the Council for Development and Reconstruction, the engineer Nabil ElJisr during the ceremony of the inauguration of the project of drinking and irrigation water systems in Hasbaya, which will feed the villages of the caza starting from the valley of the town of Ain Jarfa where three artesian wells were digged and equipped. This ceremony was held in the hall of Dar Hasbaya in the presence of minister of Finance, Mr. Ali Hassan Khalil, representing the Speaker of Parliament and a number of deputies and personalities.
MP Khalil noted the awareness of the President of CDR for the reality of the development in our country and his feeling of national responsibility towards the Lebanese regions. On the other hand, the president of CDR said that this project is one of the successful projects, which included the establishment of wells and the rehabilitation and establishment of pumping stations and water tanks and the establishment of distribution networks and irrigation canals and agricultural roads. This will be completed with distribution networks and irrigation canals funded by the Lebanese government. In conclusion, MP Khalil presented an appreciation plaque to the President of CDR, engineer Nabil ElJisr, and to the CDR Government representative, Dr. Walid Safi in recognition of their efforts to the success of this project.
