“Financial Expert with ERP
Customisation experience”

Short-Term Expert (LSTE or ISTE)
Job outline: The Financial Expert is to assist the CDR divisions in upgrading the new
Chart of Accounts, defining the contents and formats of all reporting documents
and preparing the customisation file for the future ERP. The Expert shall have extensive accounting software (ERP) customisation
experience.
Reporting to: The MSC-CDR Team Leader
Counterpart: The MSC-CDR Team, the
CDR IT department and the Accounting and Funding divisions
Duration
of the assignment and Time Table:

Starting
in March 2003
a)
Review
the new CoA designed by E&Y for CDR and adapt it to ERP philosophy
b)
Detail
the aspects related to the funding subsidiary ledger together with the final
users of Finance and Funding divisions
c)
Analyse
migration from cash basis to accrual basis
d)
Define
related changes in accounting schemes
e)
Analyse
and define the Accounts Payable related processes
f)
Analyse
and define the processes related to the funding activities and their linkage to
the accounting/financial system
g)
Define
budget organisation, budget sheets and budget classification
h)
Study
and define all reporting documents
i)
Prepare
the customisation file for the GL and AP modules of the future ERP
j)
Give
recommendations on the migration between the old and the new accounting
application
Duties
and outputs will be refined by technical notes before and during the
assignment.
