INVITATION TO BID

 

Project: Supply and installation of Medical Equipment & Furniture for Jezzine Governmental Hospital.

 

The Council for Development and Reconstruction (CDR), representing the Government of Lebanon and the Ministry of Public Health, has received funds from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) for the Procurement of Equipment for  public Hospitals. Part of the proceeds of these funds will be applied for the procurement and Installation of Medical Equipment & Furniture for Jezzine Governmental Hospital (40 beds) described as follows:

 

Monitoring, Respiratory and Anesthesia Equipment

Lot I Sections

Operating Theatre Equipment

 

Sterilization and Mortuary Equipment

Lot II Sections

Laboratory Equipment

 

Radiology & Imaging Equipment

Lot III Section

Ward and Medical Equipment

Lot IV Sections

Dialysis Equipment

 

Surgical Instruments

 

Refrigeration Equipment

Lot V Sections

Incinerator

 

Non Medical

 

 

CDR invites interested eligible bidders: (bidders with experience in similar projects who have completed over the past five (5) years, the procurement and installation of equipment for at least one hospital project of a minimum capacity of 40 beds or part of such hospital services of similar nature to the lot(s) he is bidding for, offering standard general hospital services) to submit their bids for the Supply and Installation of Medical Equipment & Furniture for Jezzine Governmental Hospital. Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the office of:

A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders as of Thursday January 31st, 2008 at the above address and upon the payment of a nonrefundable fee of two hundred fifty US Dollars (USD 250) for each lot, in the form of a certified banker’s cheque in the name of CDR.

 

Bids must be delivered to the above address before 12.00 noon local time on Wednesday March 26th, 2008.

 

Bids will be opened in the presence of bidder’s representatives who choose to attend at the offices of The Council for Development and Reconstruction on Wednesday March 26th, 2008.
