A meeting was held at the Grand Serail, which included the caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati, Minister of Communications, Johnny AlCorm, President of the Council for Development and Reconstruction, Eng. Nabil El-Jisr, and the ambassador of China to Lebanon Qian Minjian. During the meeting, they discussed the issue of the assistance that China will provide to the telecommunications sector, which amounts to about 6 million dollars, through providing it with solar energy for terrestrial and cellular communication stations and centers.
