The President of the Council for Development and Reconstruction, Eng. Nabil El-Jisr, received in his office a delegation from the Contractors Union headed by Captain Maroun ElHelou.  During the meeting, the delegation presented to the President of CDR the difficulties faced by contractors in continuing to implement projects, especially in terms of delay in the payment of their dues and the impact of the dollar exchange rate on the implementation of contracts and difficulties in opening credits and others. The two parties agreed to communicate with the concerned authorities in the Lebanese government to overcome obstacles and to ensure the progress of work on projects under implementation.
