The President of the Council for Development and Reconstruction (CDR), Eng. Mohamad-Ali Kabbani, and the President of the National Authority for Solid Waste Management, Mr. Marwan Rizkallah, conducted an inspection tour that included the waste sorting plant in Karantina, which was recently rehabilitated, and the waste composting plant in Bourj Hammoud (Coral), which sustained significant damage as a result of the August 4, 2020 explosion. 
The tour of the composting plant was also attended by the Mayor of Bourj Hammoud, Mr. Mardig Boghossian.
